Questions? Please contact us via email.

Zambombazo is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what we do not do with it.

No Data Collection from Minors

We do not knowingly collect, process, or store personally identifiable information (PII) from minors under the age of 18. Memberships are available only to adults who are able to enter into a purchase agreement and pay with a valid payment method.

Account and Payment Information

When you check out, we collect your name, email address, username, and password. This information is used to set up and manage your account. Passwords are stored securely using the WordPress software we use to operate our site. Zambombazo staff cannot view passwords, although we can reset them at your request.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Zambombazo does not store or have access to your full credit card details. Stripe provides us with the last 4 digits of your card number and expiration date, which may be used as a reference in case of payment questions (for example, to identify a transaction or check an upcoming expiration). Refunds, when applicable, are processed securely through Stripe. For more information, see Stripe’s Consumer Terms of Service and Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

Cookies and Tracking

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we also set up cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out, the login cookies will be removed.

While logged in, our system records your last login date, total login count, and page view count.

Embedded Content

Posts on this site may include embedded content (for example, YouTube videos). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics and Data Sharing

We do not sell or exchange account information with third parties (for example, marketers or data brokers). Account details may be shared with school administrators to help manage teacher memberships or resolve account issues (for example, retirement, replacement, billing questions). We do not use marketing, website analytics or tracking platforms such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, or similar services.

Security

Our website is hosted with Bluehost and secured with SSL/TLS encryption.

Data Retention and Deletion

If a membership lapses or is cancelled, the account remains in our WordPress system until it is deleted. Stripe retains transaction records related to payments and refunds. You may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, as well as request deletion of this data, except for information we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most recent version will be posted on this page with the effective date.
