Dentro de la sociedad se supone que somos una sociedad colectiva, pero nuestras acciones de avaricia pol\u00edtica, social y econ\u00f3mica no lo parecen. Hacemos leyes que excluyen y da\u00f1an a familias, ancianos y los m\u00e1s vulnerables de nuestra sociedad.<\/p>\n<p>The point is we make meaning for ourselves at all times. This does not mean it is not real or that it is inaccurate in relation to what we call \u201creality.\u201d Even if you are being displaced slowly from the part of the city your people have a legacy in, you will make meaning out of it. Es por eso que el Eastside sigue siendo muy mexicano. Puedes crecer y morir aqu\u00ed y nunca hablar ingl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Y a la vez quiz\u00e1s la realidad es que Los Angeles nunca dej\u00f3 de ser aquel M\u00e9xico que se rob\u00f3 Estados Unidos, \u00bfno? Es decir, aunque se muevan las fronteras, la tierra tiene memoria y nunca deja de ser lo que fue.
