Asking for your input to plan the future of Zambombazo
Wow! It’s hard to believe more than 10 years have passed since we started our first Spanish class blog! Things have changed so much over the past decade, but we have as much passion for sharing our resources with our fellow teachers as we did on day one. We look forward to 10 more years of sharing our ideas with you!
Those who have been with us for a long time know that sustainability has always been one of our main objectives. This focus has thankfully permitted us to survive and grow, even as many other websites have shut down. In order to maintain the stability and quality of our work, we have often made changes to our site, both big and small. We may again be facing a time when changes are needed to keep our site alive financially.
Therefore, after much thought, but before undertaking any changes, we decided to ask a group of long-time supporters (via our mailing list) for feedback regarding the future of Zambombazo. The positive, thoughtful, constructive responses we received lightened our hearts after many months of worry about the site. One of the main takeaways from this initial research is that the overwhelming majority of those surveyed would support a shift to a membership-based system on our site.
Now we would like to give you the opportunity to share your thoughts with us, too. Hence, if you find Zambombazo valuable, please take a few minutes to thoughtfully consider and answer the questions in the survey below. Your responses will help plan the future of Zambombazo.
Thank you for your time, your feedback and for your continued support over the years!
Zachary and Betsy
[Update: Thank you for your responses! We’ve listened carefully to your feedback, here’s our plan.]
