Mi amiga Christina Berry, una maestra de español en Massachusetts, acaba de publicar estos comentarios en el boletín de MAFLA (Massachusetts Foreign Language Association):
Last year, I was inspired again. It started with another teacher sending Zachary a video to post on his website. Her student had drawn pictures on a whiteboard which corresponded to the lyrics of the song by Calle 13 called Latinoamérica. It was so powerful and moving that I could understand why he wanted to share it with all of his followers. My co-advisor, Loriann Nardacci, and I wanted our Spanish Club to make videos like that, so we decided to use Pobre Juan by Maná. Filming took over two months, and we were happy with the final product. Since the file was too large to send to Zachary, I waited until MaFLA to show him. When I saw his positive reaction to their work, I knew that it was worth all the hard work.
¡Muchas gracias, Christina! Y gracias por salvar mi dignidad al decir “his positive reaction to their work” en vez de “cry uncontrollably” ![]()
