Read on to find the answers to some frequently asked questions about our site, store, and purchasing process.
What is an ebook?
- Our ebooks are pdf documents, files that can be viewed and printed with programs such as Adobe Reader and Foxit Reader.
How do I purchase an ebook and how will I receive it?
- We now use E-junkie to digitally deliver our products – a trusted source for the delivery of ebooks with a funny name! No more waiting for us to send you an email containing your purchase – you now can download your ebook(s) instantly after payment! Here’s how it works:
1. Click on Add to Cart to add an ebook to your order. You can now purchase multiple ebooks in one transaction.
2. When you are finished selecting your desired ebook(s), click on View Cart in the right sidebar. This will open a secure order form hosted by E-junkie.
3. Click on Checkout with PayPal to be securely redirected to a PayPal payment page, where you can pay with your Visa/MasterCard/American Express/Discover card or PayPal account.
4. Enter your payment and credit card information and, once the payment is completed, be sure to click on the Complete Purchase button and wait a few moments to be taken to the page where you can instantly download your ebook(s)! You will also receive an email confirming your purchase which includes the ebook download link(s), just in case you close the window before the download is complete. The ebook download link(s) are valid for 5 days.
I want to buy an ebook, but I don’t have a PayPal account.
- We’re happy to announce that now you don’t need a PayPal account to make purchases on our site! Look for the link on the PayPal purchase page that says: “Don’t have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account”. This will allow you to use your Visa/MasterCard/American Express/Discover card when checking out, without having to sign up for a separate PayPal account.
Help! My PDF looks smudged and the fonts are all messed up!
- We’ve received reports of black smudges or incorrectly displayed fonts when opening our pdf’s on Macs. We have found that the problem lies with the default program used to open pdf’s, called Preview, and an error in the way it handles fonts. Do not open our pdf’s with Preview – they will not display correctly! Download and open our pdf’s with the most updated version of Adobe Reader to ensure consistent printing of our worksheets: Adobe Reader for Macintosh
Do you accept purchase orders?
- Yes, we now accept purchase orders from educational institutions. Our purchase order and invoicing process is handled entirely via email. Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting a purchase order to ensure a speedy and problem-free purchase. Minimum purchase using a PO: 2 ebooks.

1. Submit your purchase order as an email attachment to administration(at)zachary-jones(dot)com. To avoid duplication, please do not send us the original PO in the mail. Please be sure to include the following information:
Name and physical address of organization.
Name and email address of person responsible for receiving and processing invoice.
Ebook recipient name and email address (Our products are delivered via a secure, exclusive download link sent by email.)
Purchase order number
Item names and prices
2. Once we approve your purchase order, we will send out the following emails:
The ebook recipient will receive an email containing the links to download the purchased ebooks. These links expire 5 days after activation, so please ensure that the recipient downloads and saves the ebooks to their computer as soon as possible.
A separate email will be sent to the person responsible for receiving and processing the invoice. This email will include the invoice and remittance information. Payment is due 30 days from invoice date.
Can I get a copy of a certain song/video to use offline in my classroom? My school blocks YouTube.
- Zachary-Jones.com does not support downloads of its media resources, except in specific and limited cases in which artists provide direct permission to do so. If you would like to acquire specific songs or videos, we recommend that you seek information from the artists’ official channels, such as their websites and iTunes. Other options for saving media for offline use can often be found by asking a local colleague or by searching teacher forums and message boards.
A certain video/song won’t play on my classroom computer.
- If you are having problems playing the multimedia content on the site, feel free to contact us. However, please bear in mind that we extensively test the songs and videos before we put them on the site to make sure they are working. Unfortunately, in many cases, the problem lies with the content blocking software of your local school system, which we have no control over. Although we try our best to contact filter companies, new filters are created all of the time. We would recommend trying to access the videos from your home and seeing if they work there. If they do, then the problem of accessing them at school would have to be addressed by your local IT department.
How do I find the video or audio for a certain song? How do I find an activity about a certain grammar/vocab topic?
- The search box is your one-stop shop for the answers to all these questions! In the top right-hand corner there is a box that says “Buscar” – just type the name of the song, artist, topic, etc. you are looking for in the box, hit Enter (or click on the magnifying glass) and you’re on your way to finding a wealth of materials from our site on your chosen topic! Tip: search in Spanish instead of English to get the best results.
