Betsy and I had an absolutely wonderful afternoon. First we went to Chik-Fil-A, then we went to walk around the “casino” that is next to the ocean, which used to be a casino, but now is a multi-purpose building with a library, theatre, many other things, and a big patio that goes around the whole thing. In the middle there is a beautiful little promenade and there are white rocking chairs facing out to the ocean! After we walked around there a bit, we went on the playground and then out to stroll on the pier. There were a bunch of people out there fishing, like normal. There was this weird big fish that was floating near the surface, though nobody seemed to know why. A bunch of people were gawking at it and the fishermen were all trying to catch it. We overheard later one fisherman saying that he might have been choking on a crab or something. Weird.

Anyway, then we were on the end of the pier and we saw a couple of dolphins! They just kept bobbing up to the surface. They were so close! It was amazing. Every time that they would come up, I would scream nearly.

Then we came back home, I changed into some shorts and Betsy into a cute skirt and we went out for a walk on the beach. The tide was out by then, so we rounded the corner and walked up a bit toward the north.

Super-nice relaxing and invigorating afternoon!

It’s been over a month since I last traveled down to Covertown! Anyway, here’s something short I did the other day. I love John Legend so much, but obviously there’s no way I can cover many of his songs, he’s such a talented vocalist. I liked my guitar on this one, though.

Hmm…need to blog more. I have lots of videos and songs sitting around here, but I haven’t made time to put them up. Hopefully I’ll get on it soon…
