Betsy and I are both Ravenclaws

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

The sorting hat says that I belong in Ravenclaw!

Said Ravenclaw, “We’ll teach those whose intelligence is surest.”

Ravenclaw students tend to be clever, witty, intelligent, and knowledgeable.

Betsy and I took two quizzes and they both sorted us here. We thought that there would be disparity, but no.

2 albums I’m listening to tonight

Friday, November 16th, 2007

I love vacation time! Tonight I am chilling and listening to some incredible albums on surround sound.

In RainbowsRadiohead – In Rainbows
Really good. For some reason I am reminded of a guy I once knew named Bailey. I wonder where he is now. When he reviewed a Coldplay concert for The STING, what seemed like so long ago, he said simply, “When I want to listen to Radiohead, I’ll listen to Radiohead.” And it’s true: there’s nothing quite completely zoning out to some Radiohead. It’s entrancing, mesmerizing.

5 SongsDecemberists – 5 Songs
So typical, for a non-typical girl like Betsy. Beautiful and intelligent. Perfectly succinct. Exactly what I was looking for. Exactly like Betsy.

Zachary in Spanish

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

Zachary in Spanish is “Zacarías.” Actually, “Zacarías” is Zechariah, as in the Bible book. I am the number one Google result when you search ‘zachary in spanish’.

Obviously, those searching for ‘zachary in spanish’ are probably looking for the Spanish equivalent of the name “Zachary.” I am number one search result most likely for the sheer number of times that the words “Zachary” and “Spanish” appear on my site, albeit in isolation. Therefore, so that the search result actually provides visitors with what they most likely were looking for, I wrote this post. :)

Congratulations, Guen!
