I love my job
Sunday, July 29th, 2007Tomorrow I’m heading back to work to begin final preparations for a new school year. I love that new school year feeling. Furthermore, I’m glad that I still love my job. Confucius say, “Find a job you love and you will never work a day of your life.” I won’t go that far, because I love the feeling of work when it pays off, but I do agree with the sentiment.
The kids come back Aug. 8. New teachers come in on July 31. I’m not supposed to return until Aug. 3, but I just like to get everything ready. I hope to have one blissfully productive day on Monday before all the crowds get there. Also, I’ll be able to pick up my $100 educator card and go out and buy some supplies. That’s always fun!

Betsy and I have been eating a lot of fruit lately. There have been lots of good deals on peaches, nectarines, grapes, strawberries, and blueberries. I suppose it must be fruit season. The peaches in particular are very succulent! Surely can’t be bad for us to add some more fruit to our diet.
