I’m still here! hehe. Though seemingly not finding much time to blog.

Well, my compilation of posts is complete for 2006. You can look back on some important posts, some good, some bad, some funny, some sad. This year was good for my blog, that’s for sure. This year I added video blogging (”Zach TV”). That still is pretty cool to me. Speaking of that, I’ve got to do some more video. So, I’ll leave you with the Highlights of 2006.

Bets and I have had a great start to the semester! We are getting back into our routine nicely. My legs and voice were pretty weak yesterday evening, since I was out of practice, but they are feeling a little better today. My classes have run smoothly and I am establishing good routines and procedures. Too, the kids seem to like the TPR and my personality. From what I’ve seen so far, I made a good first impression on this batch.

At home, Betsy and I are getting back into our sleep schedule that we completely obliterated during the break. It’s funny, but I was actually looking forward to the stability that our normal routine brings us, little things like actually falling asleep right away. Not that I like being away from home, but it’s nice to have routine. Betsy has fixed me some good lunches so far this semester, too!

Speaking of lunch, this semester I get the wonderful privilege of 3rd period planning, and I get to stay in my room (I don’t have to give it up for a “floater”). That means that I get to eat very leisurely in my classroom, and also that I can get a lot done.
