The Geography of a Famous Speech Worksheet

On August 28, 1963, Martin Luther King, Jr. gave a speech that is now one of the most famous speeches in American history. In it, he called for racial equality and an end to discrimination. He mentioned some states specifically and compared how they were at that time to how he hoped they would be in the future. I have created a worksheet that uses a portion of this speech to review some geography and to spark discussions about this important man and his dream.
